𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗝𝗲𝗻 𝗗𝗼?
Anyone recognize this place? It’s a little famous! If you don’t know, it is called the Bar Vitelli.
It was super important to snag a photo with this landmark before we headed off to the reception. We had very little time (60 seconds?) to pose and execute this image – so I ended up combining two frames to get the perfect bridal party photo of everyone engaging with each other instead of the camera.
I circled some distractions – water bottle, bridesmaids shoes, a gentleman inside the bar taking his seat, and my light stand with my Profoto USA B10. Typically I’d remove the white sign in the corner, but it’s super important to the bride and groom’s story so I let it stay. (if you cannot read it, it says Savoca – the town that they got married in while they were in Italy).
Also warmed the image up a bit since it was getting to be close to golden hour. I’m not sure what else I’d add or remove – did I get everything? Did you see the adorable bar cat?
It was $200 euro to photograph inside the Bar Vitelli – so we elected to do this instead. What do you think?
